Giving opportunity: Training young women who due to culture, language and financial barriers have not been exposed to the outside business world. Working in the Girls in Business Wildflower Hair Accessories social enterprises will expand their future career opportunities.

Supporting: 20 young women and girls with mentoring and training, plus will
employ a local woman to supervise and provide administrative support to the girls expanding interests.

$500 will provide one woman a start-up grant to launch her new enterprise

Giving opportunity: Through the social enterprise 'The Rising Collective' boutique, graduates of the Women's Business Incubator gain access to a main street retail space. In addition, the store is part of the employment scholarship program providing practical retail experience.

Supporting: 10 women who face cultural barriers, or escaping violent relationships with mentoring and training to bring a product or service to market and develop their financial independence.

Women in Business: Start-up Work Space – Bankstown

Safe work space for women in need to build financial independence

$500 will provide one woman with one to one training and mentoring

Sydney Women's Fund, WAGEC, Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre, Sydney Women's Charity

Giving opportunity: Providing a safe Work Space, coaching and mentoring for women struggling with a business or trying to start up a new one. This pilot project is in response to the growing list of women who have launched with CSS Village support.

Supporting: 10 women who face cultural barriers, or escaping violent relationships with mentoring and training to bring a product or service to market and develop their financial independence.

Place: Bankstown
