Saluting Sydney Women 2014

The inaugural Saluting Sydney Women is an annual event to pay tribute to great Sydney Women.

In August 2014, the MCA rooftop was a sea of inspired women and beautiful flowers and song, with the voice of young soprano Karen Fitz-Gibbon singing Farewell to a great NSW Governor, leader and our Patron, Her Excellency Professor Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO.

We were thrilled to be able to announce a 5 year gift of $100,000 per year (a total of $500,000) from entrepreneur and philanthropist Deanne Weir to support Sydney Women’s Fund projects.  The women in the room gave a stunning $80,000 to match Deanne’s 2014 gift!

We hope you can share stories of our great work with your friends and colleagues and help us raise the remaining $20,000 of our matching campaign in 2014. Donate to the Sydney Women’s Fund now.
